Cross Train Program

RUNS MAY 1 - JULY 29

$350.00 plus $47 ASSA registration fee per swimmer, Ages 8 and older

This program is designed for athletes looking to maintain or improve their fitness levels in their off season. Focus will be on stroke improvement, injury prevention and cardio based endurance. Swimming is a great way to maintain and improve cardiovascular fitness while increasing muscle mass. Swimming recruits all the major muscle groups, including shoulders, back, abdominals, legs, hips and glutes,

Swim up to 3 times per week Monday - Thursday.  Within the first two weeks of May, you will be placed with an appropriate skill level group.

Requirements: Participants should be very comfortable in the water, able to swim front and back crawl continuously in the water for a minimum of 50m (2 lengths of the pool).

Your swimmer will also have the chance to try competition!  The Cross Train participants are welcome and encouraged to join us for the Canmore Coho Swim Meet July 28 & 29.
